Family Day Celebration

Family Day was first organized in August 2018 to encourage parents to participate in all aspects of their children’s lives. We host this annual event to give all the parents in the community opportunities to spend fun quality time with their children outside home and school. This event is free and features a number of activities, including Ferris wheel, pirate ship, giant inflatable attractions, and other fun carnival rides and games. Our staff also leads thousands of parents and children in the kick- off parade from 47th Street to 53rd Street on 8th Avenue to promote this event, and highlight the positive core values of Chinese traditions as well as emphasizing the importance of strong family bonds.
